Introducción

Si necesitas convertir archivos CAD a formato KML o KMZ, este artículo te mostrará cómo hacerlo usando QGIS. Además, como alternativa, puedes cargar archivos CAD directamente desde el Creador de Emplazamientos de RatedPower.

Abre QGIS y siga los siguientes pasos:

  • Primero necesitaras el plugin "KML tools"

  • Ahora tienes que importar tu archivo DWG a QGIS con la herramienta Import layers from DWG/DXF (dentro de Project > Import/Export > Import layers from DWG/DXF).

Si el archivo está en la versión 2018, QGIS no podrá importarlo. En este caso puedes volver a guardarlo en la versión 2013.

  • Durante la importación, no olvides establecer el sistema de referencia de coordenadas (CRS) comprobando el EPSG de tu archivo. Si no lo conoces, puedes intentar encontrarlo utilizando esta página web: epsg.io

  • El siguiente paso es transformar manualmente las áreas que no están en el formato correcto, en polígonos con la herramienta de "line to polygon" y las otras herramientas de geometría

  • Cuando hayas terminado puedes exportar cada área a KMZ

Si la exportación a KML falla, puedes probar la herramienta de disolución (dissolve) en tu capa antes de exportar.

  • A continuación, debes abrir todos sus archivos KMZ en Google Earth y establecer los nombres correctos, añadir las marcas de posición y guardar cada área en un archivo KML.

Después de todos estos pasos, estás listo para exportar su archivo a RatedPower y comenzar a diseñar tu planta fotovoltaica.
