A known issue with Canon MF drivers involves a Windows SID (Security Identifier) conflict. This fix forces the installer to accept a new SID.
If the spooler is not responding, it cannot register the new MF Port Monitor. Press , type services.msc , and press Enter. Find Print Spooler , right-click it, and select Stop .
: Use the UNINSTAL.exe (with one 'L') utility found in the misc folder of the driver package to wipe registry entries.

: Download the latest MF Drivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear) package directly from the Canon Support site . Avoid using the generic "Lite" drivers if possible.
: Look for a file named UNINSTAL.exe (with one 'L') in the misc folder of your driver package . Run this as an Administrator to wipe orphaned files and registry entries.
