Originally aired live on FOX on March 20, 2016, this production was set in modern-day New Orleans and featured contemporary pop songs to tell the story of the Passion of Christ.

When the official Passion 2016 Live Album was released later that year, it was a polished masterpiece. Mixed by industry veterans, the album captured the sonic energy of the event but condensed three-to-four-hour worship sets into digestible, radio-ready tracks. Songs faded in and out.
